Description

So...a short while ago, :iconakiraine: and :iconzephrania: and I, decided to enter an OCT here on DA. It was a Masque OCT wherein our identities were secret. This was why I have not posted this before. Our styles merged with Zeph drawing and scripting, Aki finishing the drawing and inking and with my colors and finishing touches.

Sadly, the timing of the tourney was off, for us all, and life, projects and school interfered with our successful production of a first round piece. We entered sketch work, as did our opponent, though, their story was deemed to be stronger, and we were eliminated. This is bittersweet because although I wanted to continue in this effort, to learn and to participate in a one of a kind project, it was not meant to be, and the stress of doing it all under such a short time constraint, was too much.

So here is our entry piece, beautiful as it is, I think, so that you can all see.

It's a real shame you didn't get in - because you all obviously spent a lot of time on this - and it shows - it's really good. Top storytelling from start to finish. The characters are well drawn (both artistically and in terms of their personalities) and you've set up a really mysterious beginning - wish we could find out what happens next! Hard to believe this didn't get in to be honest - you three work really well together - better than I would have expected actually, considering how different your styles are.
